Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will be verified.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more medium sized or complex IT projects.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years, leading fully independent IV&V services to government entities.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a technical capacity on IT projects
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years, providing IV&V services for IT projects to California State Departments
- Working knowledge of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
- Experience with configuring or using agile development team management and development pipeline toolsets like Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Team Services, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, or Circle CI desirable.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing IV&V services on an Agile Software Development project(s) or utilizing an iterative delivery approach for a project(s) similar in size, scope, and complexity desirable.
